This fragile-looking creature is much tougher than you think. Dragalge combines Poison-type as well as Dragon-type moves into an effective build that can turn the Pokemon into a robust tank. Its DEF is good while its SPEC. DEF is excellent; it has decent ATK as well as serviceable SPEC. ATK. The biggest drawback is its rather poor HP, which, despite the high defensive scores, isn’t enough to outlast strong moves targeting its unfortunate number of weaknesses. Dragalge is best utilized as a wall, no contest. Tryin’ to boost its terrible SPD so it can sweep without getting hit is a waste of effort; you’re better off loading it down with powerful attacks which it can use to waste the competition. Sludge Wave or Dragon Pulse can be used for STAB damage. Beyond that, it retains a large number of Water-type moves, so Surf is always a great idea. Other possibilities include Thunderbolt, Focus Blast, and Hyper Beam. Round this set off with Rest and you’ve got a solid teammate. An alternative is to poison the opposition via Toxic. Let this noxious move chew up others while you set up a solid defense with Double Team, Rest, Sleep Talk, Substitute, or whatever that might catch your fancy.

I was gaping the entire song this is insane
If I had a dollar for every time a musician made me feel like I’ve done nothing with my life, I’d be filthy, FILTHY rich.
