“Diana” and “Barbara”
These portraits by illustrator Andre De Freitas are just incredible. I love that he went with the concept of showing these women as Diana and Barbara as opposed to Wonder Woman and Batgirl. His illustrations really get across their humanity.

Batgirl looks amazing!!!
As part of DC Comics’ 2011 line-wide title relaunch, The New 52, Barbara Gordon’s paralysis, and her identity of Oracle, were retconned as lasting only a temporary span of time. In theBatgirl series (volume 4) that was launched in September 2011 as part of the retcon, Gordon has resumed her activities as Batgirl, though the trauma of the events of The Killing Joke still manifests itself when confronted with an opponent who points a gun at her.
Pick this one up!! Trust me I was so upset about Stephanie (My favorite DC Character) loosing the mantle but I’ve actually enjoyed the first three issues!
